Movie: Babe @ Capitol Theatre

Babe is a 1995 Australian-American comedy-drama film directed by Chris Noonan, produced by George Miller, and written by both. It is an adaptation of Dick King-Smith's 1983 novel The Sheep-Pig, also known as Babe: The Gallant Pig in the US, which tells the story of a pig raised as livestock who wants to do the work of a sheepdog. The main animal characters are played by a combination of real and animatronic pigs and Border Collies.

March MCGS Meeting

The monthly meeting of the Morrow County Genealogical Society will be held on March 23 at the Mt Gilead Public Library, 41 East High St.  
The speaker will be Jason Ireland, talking about his book, The Devil's Fork.  It is a historical novel of frontier life along the forks of the Mohican River.  Meeting is at 2:00 PM and the public is welcome.

Book Club with Annie--American Gods and "Galentine" Gathering

Join Annie on the first floor for discussion centering around the book American Gods by Neil Gaiman.  Because we are meeting on Valentine's day, those attending will have the option to hand out Valentines to the other attendees (plan for 15 Valentines "To: You" and "From: Me").  If you have questions, contact the library.
