The library staff is excited to partner with Lincoln Center Local to present free screenings of performances at the Lincoln Center. The screenings are a community program to broaden access to the arts for all. Past performances at the Lincoln Center will be picked and shown at the library on a regular basis. Join us at 9:00 a.m.on Saturday, April 8 for the Danish String Quartet. One of the most exciting young string quartets on the world stage arrives at the Kaplan Penthouse for its Mostly Mozart debut with a fascinating program that begins with Mozart’s arrangements of Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier followed by Thomas Adès’s kaleidoscopic fantasy Arcadiana and Beethoven’s earth-moving Grosse Fuge.
