Pages & Popcorn - The One & Only Ivan

Young readers can stop by the Mount Gilead Public Library to pick up their reserved copy of "The One and Only Ivan" starting July 18th. Books can be read in a variety of ways: audiobook, independently read by the child, or read aloud by an adult with the child. During the meeting on July 25th, Miss Melissa will walk readers though thoughtful discussion – just like an adult book club! Recommended for grades 1-6. Popcorn will be available as a refreshment. This book concludes Pages & Popcorn for the 2019 Summer Reading Program.

Young readers can stop by the Mount Gilead Public Library to pick up their reserved copy of "The Cricket in Time Square" starting June 27th. Books can be read in a variety of ways: audiobook, independently read by the child, or read aloud by an adult with the child. During the meeting on July 11th (TWO WEEKS to read this one!!!!!), Miss Kelly will walk readers though thoughtful discussion – just like an adult book club! Recommended for grades 1-6. Tiny Tots Story Time with Miss Lori

Tiny Tots Story Time with Miss Lori gives parents and caregivers the opportunity to let their kids enjoy stories, dancing and craft time in a themed environment. Families should meet on the first floor of the library for storytime to begin at 10:45 each Tuesday.

Level Up Storytime

Join MGPL Staff Member Miss Melissa for an intergallactic Level Up Storytime as part of our "A Universe of Stories" Summer Reading Program. Sessions will be held Mondays at 5:45 PM and are geared for those aged 6 to 9.
