Children's program

Speak with the people whose jobs help Mount Gilead. Visit with people from the library, hospital, school bus department, fire and police station. This event will be at the Annex Parking Lot.

Join us, June 16th, 2023 at 11:00am, for this fun event as we paint a simple painting led by library staff. We will be in the Annex building. Registration is required. (Limit 12) Call, 419-947-5866 or message us on here to register. 

Build whatever you want that follows the challenge or theme of the week. Afterwards, your creation will be put on display on 1st floor for the whole week. 

In the Green Gnome Garden Club, you will learn about soil, seeds, and plants. You will also have the opportunity to plant seeds in the garden and watch them grow! 

Join us for YA Book Club in May. We will be discussing the book, Need by Carrie Jones. Copies of the book are available for pick up at the 1st floor circ desk. We will meet on 3rd floor and snacks will be provided. 

Tweens and Teens, join us for our April YA Book Club. We will be discussing the book, Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. We will meet on 3rd floor. 

Join us for our November YA Book Club! We will meet on third floor, snacks provided, and talk about the book Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs

Join us for a special story time. October 8th at 3:30pm We will be reading the book, and doing a craft to celebrate the movie coming out at The Capitol Theatre that same weekend! Every child that comes to this story time will receive a free movie ticket to see the movie.
