Computer Workstation Use Policy

 

Anyone with a library card from Mount Gilead Public Library, or from participating Consortium of Ohio Libraries member libraries, may use library computers. Local residents who are not library card holders will need provide photo identification to use the computers.  There is no charge for the public to use the computer workstations; however, we require users check in with our staff. 

Individuals under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian come to the library to sign a permission card or have a parent or guardian present to access the internet. 

Computer access will only be granted to library members in good standing (current membership information and no fees). Computer privileges will be suspended if overdue fines accrue on your account.

  • Microsoft Office 2013 (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Internet Usage

Our library's internet access is provided by OPLIN (the Ohio Public Library Information Network).  Please remember that the internet access available (including wireless internet) at Mount Gilead Public Library is a public resource, to be shared by the community and to be respected by individuals who use it.  Click the link below to find a copy of our current Internet Use Policy.
