Join the Mount Gilead Public Library as you attempt to prep your spaceship for departure! But beware as one crewmate will be an imposter bent on eliminating everyone!
“This is an exciting time for the library,” announced Melissa Kipp, Library Director. “With the support of the voters in Mt. Gilead, we can now not only continue our excellence in service, but also deliver new, more and better things.”
With the announcement on Thursday, November 5, 2020 of Morrow County moving to COVID-19 Alert Level Red, the Mount Gilead Public Library is following its plan to move to curbside services. MGPL will continue to serve customers with curbside services only while the alert level remains raised.
After closing the library building temporarily as a precautionary measure due to COVID-19, we are happy to announce that we are again open for all of our services.
The Aspire Program at Marion Technical College (MTC) is a tuition-free service for people who need to work on basic math, reading, or writing skills that help them be more successful in their college courses, their employment situation, or their preparations for taking a high school equivalency (HSE) exam. Both college students and non-college students participate in Aspire classes.
